There was an ignorantly large transfer slab at the bottom of the towers, I wonder if the sheer mass of the stupid thing had anything to do with it

The west tower is really beginning to dominate the view down University.

wow! just imagine the view had something taller (and better) been built on the infinity II site. (or even if the entire ICE project shifted over a bit). lost opportunity. shame :(
I think the Delta should be visible from here though.

It is a great shot, the skyline is looking mighty fine from there. From that POV the two ICE towers will add a little more balance to the area between the financial district & the CN Tower. Even the Residences of Pier 27 will look good glistening from there once the glass goes up. Btw, who goes to the Islands in January and why?! Brrr!

agreed! one of the most balanced skyline pics I've seen yet! L tower has a really nice impact from here, and it's a refreshing angle to see it look a little more prominent on the skyline (and wider). ICE really is the perfect height for this location, a little taller also wouldn't be so bad, but that's what Oxford Place is for.
The impact I'm looking forward to is the Casino towers behind the Rogers Centre. also, whatever one day goes up in front of the rogers centre (considering there is a huge parking lot gap)
Our skyline will become a lot more coherent in the coming years, truly exciting times, and the One Yonge developments will push our skyline even further to the east... gonna need a much wider lens to photograph the skyline!

I really hope the dome never gets blocked from view. I think it adds a certain amount of interest to the skyline. Lets turn that parking lot into a public square or some mid or low-rise commercial space.

To get incredible shots of our skyline like the one posted above, of course ;)

Photo taken by SkyJacked on Friday zooming from L Tower across Maple Leaf and Ice condo towers towards Porter airplane taking off from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Fantastic shot.
