There was an ignorantly large transfer slab at the bottom of the towers, I wonder if the sheer mass of the stupid thing had anything to do with it
The west tower is really beginning to dominate the view down University.
This morning:
It is a great shot, the skyline is looking mighty fine from there. From that POV the two ICE towers will add a little more balance to the area between the financial district & the CN Tower. Even the Residences of Pier 27 will look good glistening from there once the glass goes up. Btw, who goes to the Islands in January and why?! Brrr!
... also, whatever one day goes up in front of the rogers centre (considering there is a huge parking lot gap)
I really hope the dome never gets blocked from view. I think it adds a certain amount of interest to the skyline. Lets turn that parking lot into a public square or some mid or low-rise commercial space.
