Such a missed opportunity.

Stunning pictures of (among other things) a drab monolith.

If it was drab, then its pictures would not have been stunning. For example, I don't think we can have a stunning reflection of the Daniels next door. Now that's what you should call drab (or worse).

I don't mind this building at all - but not in this location.

Fortunately it does detract from the other junk in the area.

Just noticed on my walk tonight that the lift is gone. Perhaps this has been discussed here already but I just noticed it tonight.

What could have added more depth and character to this building, is if they had kept the temporary vertical slot, indented it and made it into a substantial reveal. It would have broken up the monotony of the box. Ahh, but B+H is not good enough to pull that off.

5:30 and they are taking the crane down, and it is snowing. Likely a 7 to 7 shift. These guys have earned their pay today.
