Just arrived. Time to start drilling....

Most of the site had been drilled/shored already. They brought back the drilling machine to do the south east quadrant of the site that up until now had the remnants of the old building on it.
 
It's an impressively massive sight once you see it with everything cleared out of the way. Will be putting together a progress drawing for this one once it starts going upwards since it seems we have some pretty solid angles being posted!
 
Saw the demolition of this building on an episode of Salvage Kings last night on History Channel.
They salvaged the wood beams - but had a tough time removing all the nails.


They also sold the old brass sconces from the Royal York lobby for $10,000 (for all 10, 8 complete, 2 missing glass shades)
