Toronto has won two things (This and World Pride) in just a few short months, ending a near-decade long drought of not winning a damn thing. Things are looking up.

Okay! Let's get to building the West Donlands and the Aquatic Centre @ UofT, improving rail transit in the GTA, putting the Eglinton LRT or Subway on the forefront.....

FINALLY, we are WINNERS! (unlike the Leafs) Could our luck be changing? Maybe now we can get over our inferiority complex and start to see ourselves as winners.

SUBWAYS PLEASE! How about that downtown relief line, we need it, now!

You do realize we're talking about the TTC, and the PanAmerican games? The TTC will do absolutely nothing.

It's not the TTC's decision to make. The city and the province have a lot of expectations to live up to.

While Miller won't be Mayor during the games, in all likelihood McGuinty will be premier so the Provincial government will put the resources in the needed places.

A DRL is now necessary, even if it simply runs from the Athlete's village to Union Station.

Honestly by God I hope you're right. I'd like to see the DRL being studied NOW, but unfortunately it has only been a few days since it was taken out of 2010's operating budget for preliminary research.
