I've been taking a close look at the white panel installation in the last few posts, and while it hasn't stopped, it has slowed down to the point at which I'm wondering if they're experimenting, possibly testing slight variations in the material to see if they can get a better finish. It's hard to tell though: the direction at which the light hits the panels seems to create different effects on each face of the tower, with the seams most easily seen on the south side. Some of the panelling on the west side looks much flatter (and better)… but it may just be the direction from which the light is coming.

Was thinking/wondering exactly the same, walking by last night. Some of the panels look downright terrible in-person; basically has the effect of a tennis bubble.
