the beltline trail runs north of eglinton from spadina to bathurst and points west, while cedarvale park is well south of there, running from st mike's football field at tichester near bathurst and st clair up to ava rd south of eglinton at the allen

the beltline trail is rather, if you will excuse the pun, pedestrian, so i hope your next instalment will actually be cedarvale park

Ah, was going by this map and assumed the trail going through Cedarvale Park was part of the beltline. We started at Ava Rd. and ended up at St.Clair.

yeah, the top half of that red circuit is the beltline trail, but not the bottom half

Great update! I remember wandering around the Humber College campus there, a few years ago, while waiting for a bus - but I've never made it down to the park. I'll have to check it out sometime soon...

This next post is from our trail walk through Cedarvale Park. I had originally thought that this trail was part of the Beltline Trail but as pointed out by r937, it is indeed not. Having zoomed in on google maps, I can clearly see where the Beltline Trail is now

Anyway, we started at Ava Rd. at Cedarvale Park and made our way south to the St.Clair West subway station. I had picked this trail to walk about a week earlier and until then had no idea it existed. It is not exactly the longest trail you could walk (25 minutes on our way back with no stopping) but had enough variety to make it a worthwhile adventure. Each section of the trail was different to the next making for an enjoyable walk.
