budboopriest: Perhaps that's because, to the eye, dark areas recede and light areas advance? A lot of the darkest windows are in the centre of the rendering, whereas many of the lightest windows are at the outsides of the building, especially on the upper left side - which flips forward visually when contrasted with the dark sky behind it.

i spy:

2 nice buildings to view from my CASA 2 ok one's and 3 really ugly ones. Luckily for me Casa comes with blinds to block out the offending beasts.

^Those ugly ghetto=looking apt slabs you see in that last photo. If i've plunked down 600,000 for a luxury designer condo, I expect everything to be perfect, including the view.

The slab next door is planned to be demolished for another condo.

If you don't like 70s slabs in your view then maybe you should consider leaving Toronto - there aren't many views anywhere in the city that are slabless.
