Drippy Friday

BONUS PIC!

Looking at the exterior of the walkway from the present bus terminal towards Union Station, usually called Platform 3. It was raining and I didn't want to stop to take more, but the steel beams (Clifford Restorations) cross Bay St on the north side between the East and West Bay St Teamway. Eventually, a new pedestrian bridge will be installed in front of this heritage steel cladding. Is it possibly ArtDeco in design?

The blue concrete pump #3 was sadly removed on Wednesday and was quickly covered up today. All that remains is a steel projection waiting for a future post and beam

141 Bay St – Application to Remove the Holding Symbol From the Zoning By-Law – Final Report ,, https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2019/te/bgrd/backgroundfile-136815.pdf

This application proposes to remove the Holding symbol (h) from Block 1a of the lands bounded by Bay Street, Yonge Street, 1 Front Street West and the Rail Corridor (municipally known in 2018 as 141 Bay Street and the portion of lands designated for Transportation uses between Bay and Yonge Streets)
to permit the development of a 53-storey office tower with a 7-storey podium.

Those green roofs remind me of a tennis court. How soon until Nike uses them as locations to shoot a dramatic ad with Bianca????
