My God! The ramp up is longer than the bridge!

i'm sure that has to do with two things. the foot of the ramp needs to line-ip with a yet-to-be built traffic light. also, the incline has to accessible to disabled people.

Most of the form work has been stripped from the south ramp. The rest should be gone by the weekend.
A new pad at the base connect to the street should be pour by now.
2 huge base at the bottom to support something of weight or tall.
Steel deck is down with nelson studs where there are no joints at this time. The bridge will be completed early next week for the erection for Sept 9-11 as it stands now.

There better not be any persnickety rules about cycling up and down the vast stretches of ramp, as opposed to dismounting and walking.

I wonder when it will open to the public, as the south side still opens into an active construction site.

Am i the only one that thinks that ramp and colums on Front street look butt ugly from the side.. anyways better than nothing.
