Would need a contraflow southbound bicycle lane on the one-way northbound Croham Road for the one block to reach the Caledonia Station then. Would be better if the bicycle path reached Eglinton Avenue West (and beyond).

The selected three pre-qualified companies in 2020 and said they would award the Caledonia GO work in spring of 2021. It is now fall and no news yet. Never has a project had so many announcements that it is definitely happening but end up with nothing happening. Does anyone know the status of this procurement process?

I contacted Metrolinx about it. Here's the response I got:

Thank you for reaching out. The Caledonia project is currently under review with different procurement options being assessed before proceeding to market. Construction will then follow on the Barrie Corridor line, most likely in 2022. We will be in touch when we have more updates.

No idea what is sticking out the east wall or what it is for.

I am assuming the eastbound buses will drop/pickup riders on the street as I don't see how you can put in a turning lane when there is a turning lane for left turns there. Bus entrance will start at the end of the bridge
