The inserts for the railings look weird. Are they temporary you think vs clear plexi?

I kinda like transparent - thoughts on each?
The building I live in went with translucent during a recent upgrade. I love it; it brings some privacy. Obviously I get clear views of everything above the guard, so it still feels wide open, but if I want to see detail in the public realm below… I have been known to stand up and look!

They've removed the wooden construction barriers at street level and most of the exterior has already been completed apart from the ground floor cladding and maybe cleaning up the sides. Presumably they've been making further progress on the interiors.
