The service connections between the street and property line are going in today (sani/storm sewers and watermain). Does anyone know if they got the building permit yet, or a reference number so that we can look it up on the City's website?

they are late already. will they be able to finish by the end of 2012?
 
went to the site on Firday and talked to the guys who were doing service: water, electricity
they did not know much but were saying they will probably start digging in 2 months
 
As of today, shovels and drills are onsite, and construction of Fly has begun.

They are still drilling and installing the piles for their sheet pile wall. Looks like just over half done as of this morning.

I don't think there are any immediate plans. That parking lot is enormous... stretches all the way from Front/Spadina to Blue Jays Way/Wellington. There were signs up years ago saying an application was in place for a 4 building complex or something like that.. but never went anywhere.

I think any developer would also have to deal with the issue of shadows on clarence square park too.
