I can't understand what's the purpose of having balconies on condos in the downtown area. When there's no view or breathing space to enjoy anyway. The see through glass ones don't make a building look attractive, by showing the people's belongings. And I heard the reflection of heat from the sun in the summer makes the air conditioner work more trying to cool off the condo . If there going to have them at least make them semi transparent for an astedic look !

I have a small balcony where I sometimes have breakfast in the summer. The biggest plus for me is to be able to step outside, breathe some fresh air (OK, maybe not so fresh downtown, but better than recycled air), occasionally take pictures of the skyline unimpeded by glass. Maybe if there were more windows that can be fully opened, most condos wouldn’t need balconies

Coming down today.

^there are a lot of nice heritage sites along the street, but there is also a ton of junk. This one is keeping the stuff that was worth saving on the site, the stuff that wasn't is thankfully on its way out.

It just sucks so many properties are being consolidated into one. I understand the economics but, again, I was hoping Yonge would avoid becoming a mixed use condo alley like Bay.

I would think that this building will be down by tomorrow at the latest.
