Wow, that's the first time that I've seen University Plaza looking positive. Whole still vomit worthy on its own, as part of this whole context it really adds to that street-wall.

Nice update you can clearly see that the first floor above ground is coming along! :D This one seems to have been in the ground forever! (probably since it was one of the deepest excavations in TO's history!)... I'm interested to see the cladding on this one!

Finally, above ground! Hopefully, the costruction will pick up after a few lower floors are completed. Thanks Caltrane for the update!

Isn't amazing that Toronto has practically as many U/C towers as it has total built towers today? I'm talking skyscrapers (not '60s slabs) but still, it is inspiring to go for a walk Downtown.

'Tis quite amazing, yes.

Can't wait to see Shangri-La, Trump, Ice and the L Tower :)

Apparently Toronto has the second highest U/C skyscrapers in the world after Dubai. src: wikipedia

I mean, our height range is much lower than Dubai, but we're still kickin' ass!! :p

Certainly Shanghi is well ahead of us. I've heard reports of there being about 2000 highrises under construction or recently complete over there.

Well, with a population of over 19 million, would it be surprise that more buildings are going up Shanghai than in Toronto?
