A few shots...

First the top:

And second, the top of the podium, where it looks like it's all water-proofed and ready to put down the final surface.

It's coming along!

Thx for the pics, jallan71....very nice!

That roof looks really sick! I love those pillars that run up it! Looks like a sweet place to chill :D

What are those little square cut-outs from the concrete on the top balcony and the roof element's vertical component?

judging by Cassius' first pic they probably have something to do with mounting points for the precast finish. The precast has not yet reached the full height of the building...

Aug. 1st Update

The front of the building from Bay Street

From College Street (back of building)

The detail in the brick and balcony glass is really impressive, unfortunately my photo isn't. Perhaps I need to capture it in the morning when the sun is shining on the building...

DT, what is that great ungraceful red brick building in the foreground of your second last picture?

^ And an example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, built in 1890. I like it.

Tewder... you just picked a fight with one of my favourite buildings in this area. Grrr. The old Sick Kids Hospital is indeed gorgeous, and I even quite enjoy the PoMo addition.
