Hello 60s modernism! (And back with a friendlier attitude toward the pedestrian ;))... Welcome! :D

Two more stories on the south tower won't make any difference at all in this location, combined with the skinnyness/glass facade shadowing will also not be a problem.

I would be surprised if the city rejects their changes.

They have a notice up that they're seeking approval to add two storeys to the south tower. The hearing is on May 28

I'm planning to oppose this. My position: add 10 storeys or don't waste our time, or our red tape.

Let me know if you will join in my opposition to this adjustment.

It's probably too late to add 10 floors now that it's well U/C, as that would likely require more elevator capacity, etc. More realistic would be to add a few floors to both towers.

I have some new photos I took with my cellphone yesterday.

This building looks great on a nice day.

I hope the construction worker/artist puts as much effort into building the structure as he does defacing it.

That graff artist is horrible - I have seen a lot of his doodling around the city and I have to say its garbagio and I generally like graffiti.

On another note, this building looks kind of squat- so I would have to agree with 3D either add 10 stories, or go home..

AoD, the south tower is actually taller, now to be 45 stories after the minor variance, and the north about 10 stories shorter than the south.

26 stories left for the south tower, it looks to be at about the 19th floor now.
