But by a "shadow of its former self what" exactly what former self are you referring too ? The recent hay day (purely from a high rent, high demand, very high occupancy) maybe say 5-10 years ago was curtsey of said trendy stores (many larger chains) and restaurants ... go back 10+ years earlier and it was quite a bit more rundown (again purely from the perspective many vacant spaces) but what many would have considered "interesting" retail.It's a shadow of its former self. So lame and trendy and douchey now. None of the pizzazz of before...
