"Rexall is known for providing exceptional patient care and customer service with an ongoing dedication to caring for Canadians’ health, one person at a time"

I appreciate that they didn't even try and pretend Rexall is known for things like low prices or value to customers. I guess there is something that's a step too far for marketing BS after all.
I remember looking in Rexall once for dish soap and seeing it was something like, 50% off, but that still meant it was the same price as everywhere else, because Rexall's regular price for Palmolive was SEVEN DOLLARS PER BOTTLE. Presumably so it could always be on sale and people felt like they were getting a deal (assuming they never shopped literally anywhere else).

Canadian ownership is good news. I've been happy with Well.ca, but I hated the two Rexall stores I once used. The pharmacy section was always understaffed; once they gave me the wrong prescription drug (I only found out because my husband was taking the drug I was given and I recognized the pills!). SDM is heaven by comparison (but not heavenly enough, I'm about to switch to an independent pharmacy).

Overpriced gourmet cookies are a thing in this town - why don't I open up a shop? I'm so bored of the corporate bullshit job I have...

Gourmet cookies served with the allure of booty shorts, now that'll go viral on social media!

And he has to have cookies that match the shorts colours.

Shock Pink, Lime Green, Lemon Yellow, Electric Blue.

Like @Towered they need to be good, but a bit off the wall. None of this generic cookie dough A with M and Ms in it........

The Pink Cookie: Strawberry - White Balsamic

The Lime Cookie : Lime- Candied Ginger - Honey

The Lemon Cookie: Lemon -Jalapeno-Mint

The Electric Blue: Blueberry-Cinnamon

Taken today. Some things never change...

Fun anecdote for y'all.

When I was at work looking to buy a camera in 2015 I typed the address for what I thought was the Blacks website.

I had a highly reflective window and you could see everything that was on my screen.

I learned the hard way that it was blacks.ca not .com. Blacks . com is 1000% not photography.

Presse Internationale, a magazine store has been around for almost 2 decades at 537 Bloor St W in the Annex, are closing due to a rent increase by the landlord.

Taisho Japanese Grill is expected to take the space in the future

I think I occasionally flipped through some of the porno mags in there for a few minutes back in my youthful days to motivate myself prior to hitting the bars 🤣

This is a new deluxe coffee shop from China opening up on Sunday just south of King on the west side. This must be the 20th new café/resto to open in the financial district this year! Is this being seen in other downtowns?
