For what it's worth, as someone in no position to be a purchaser in these buildings so not a frequenter of the real estate sections, I like seeing floor plans on occasion. How people will live inside the buildings should be as important and interesting a concern as how the building looks on the outside or whether or not an Apple Store will be part of the retail. As long as the discussion stays general and doesn't center around the advisability of an individual investment decision, floor plans can give us another perspective on the choices that go into the shape a building takes.

Sorry typezed, if you want to know about living in the units, then you will need to venture to the real estate thread for this or any building.

How long do you think they'll keep the second smaller crane up? It hasn't been raised like the main one. But it's still doing lots of lifting. Do you think they'll keep it till the end?

Wondering if 11th floor is closed to be poured?

They're pouring now. The guy with the leaf blower was out earlier and that's usually the sign.

A question though, regarding the channels they are creating as they pour the floor. What are these for? Drainage? A base for interior walls? Seems strange. They all run from the interior of the floor to the perimeter.
