This view right here is going to define Yonge/Bloor I think. It completely changes the intersection, and that corner unit will probably be one of the most valuable retail sites in the country.

this tower is freakin Gorgeous!
all those who say that Aqua Chicago looks better than One Bloor, I ask you again is your answer the same?

The juxtaposition of the Kitchen Stuff Plus building with it's brown corrugated styles next to this building is so bizarre. I hope that crap and Brass Rail gets bulldozed and redeveloped!

Anyone know a source of good shots of Aqua's podium?

I'd agree that head to head Aqua is a better tower. But I like the podium on One Bloor better for how it relates to the tower.

Only shots I could find of Aqua's podium showed a very linear or square podium.

All that being said it's like trying to compare supermodels. Both are gorgeous.

Streetview is probably your best bet. The podium on Aqua is indeed a little weak.

Thanks. I'd call it a tie overall.

I'm just grateful we're getting something this nice on such an important intersection to Toronto. If that counts for something, I'd give the edge to One Bloor.

ETA - That's as of now. Still curious to see how they finish the top of One Bloor. I believed they change it and there's no renders of it.

Aqua's podium has nothing on One Bloor. One Bloor is on another level.
