Does anybody know when they will start with the demolishing of the existing structure?
Furthermore what the plan is until when they are going to start building the actual One Delisle building?

I would agree at least a path type connection under the road. Though the subway is pretty far to the east here. Better to connect to the Loblaws building which is connected to the subway.
