The memories they hold may be great, but the building clearly wasn't.
Don't know about that, its been a month and parts of the building are still standing.

A Highway 427 skyline is forming well with the Valhalla and Tridel projects, adding onto existing apartment blocks along that stretch.

Going by the place today, it will be short 4 floor either Thursday or Friday, depending on the weather. No time to take a photo.

The tower does not exist anymore. I think the bottom is gone now from what I could see today from a distance. A lot faster than I thought it would be.

They were slow at the start fast at the end, probably because of the recycling process. Once it was just a concrete hulk they get rid of her pretty quick.

June 7 The 5 exactors' and the only jackhammer were clawing at the remaining foundation of the tower as well moving the rubble. It will be gone any day now.

Has someone already knew that Edilcan has bought the property on the south side of Valhalla site (the blue roofed one storey office buildings with huge outdoor parking lots)? Looks like Edilcan has its good future on those properties, for sure, Valhalla will become one of the most beautiful site Edilcan ever built, especially European courtyard with a mix of townhouses and condominiums. Sales at Valhalla remains stronger and stronger, with both condominiums already 95% sold, and final phase is coming out soon "Triumph" - no wonder it will be an another success! Townhouses are HOT, HOT project - they are all sold out! More towns are coming soon, as per One Valhalla website under floor plans "townhomes" under Thunderbird section.

Let's hope they go even taller on the neighbouring property - there's no reason why they couldn't put up some 50, 60 storey towers right next to a highway. The 427 should become a canyon!
