Well it looks like its topped off and it was suppose to be 400ft tall. So it probably surpassed the previous tallest - Montgomery Mills 1, which was only 341ft high, some time ago.
 
Well that ugly high-rise from the 60's on Cordova Avenue north west of Bloor and Islington is also about 36 storeys tall, so I wasn't sure if Parc Nuvo beat it out...
 
Generally its fair to say newer condo buildings do have higher floor-to-floor heights with its high ceilings common nowadays

Perhaps those bookends could be interpreted as a cheeky comment on the architectural gulf between Downtown and Etobicoke?
