the coloured glass in the rendering is not going in on the north side of the building. clear glass installed instead... not surprised.
 
It's difficult to see the roof from any renderings. Is this another case of an ugly, protruding mechanical box?

I hope not.
 
I don't think coloured glass was ever proposed:

the coloured glass on the north east corner of the base.. goes about 12 stories or so up the north side of the tower…. very visible in the rendering. not so much in real life

The public art component is supposed to run up that elevation. Not sure exactly what is planned other than I recall it being something film-related.
 
Enlightening. Why is it so terrible? Handsome proportions, above-average glass, real brick...what's not to like?

And compared to the shit storm next door?
 
How about the fact that it looks like every other grey, glass box in the city? The materials may be better than average but the design isn't.
