The 2019 run will be remembered by Raptors fans a century from now, especially the buzzer-beater that would eventually lead to the Raptors dancing with the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

It is akin to Joe Carters homer over the left field wall. Total one in a million shot but everyone remembers it.

Expect it to be ESPN-exclusive in the United States

It's the end of an era.

Believe it or not, Vince Carter's NBA debut was closer in time to the first Toronto Blue Jays game in history than Carter's NBA debut is to today.

Another fun fact, Terence Davis was only 1 years old when Carter made his Raptors rookie debut in the 1998-99 NBA season.

Toronto Raptors' Nick Nurse named finalist for NBA's coach of the year award

Aug 8, 2020

Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is a finalist for the NBA's coach of the year award.

Nurse, in his second year on the job, led the Raptors to a 46-18 record before the 2019-20 season was suspended March 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Raptors had the same record after 64 games in their championship 2018-19 season, but Toronto matching that feat was impressive given that superstar Kawhi Leonard left for the Los Angeles Clippers in free agency and the Raptors played through several injuries to key players in this campaign.

Milwaukee's Mike Budenholzer and Oklahoma City's Billy Donovan are the other finalists.

Great news!

The Raptors clinched the second seed in the Eastern Conference for the playoffs!

The first seed (held by the Milwaukee Bucks) is cursed anyways.

Very likely will the Raptors take on the Brooklyn Nets or the Orlando Magic in the first round.
