This pic nicely shows the area of the future PATH connection.
I guess they couldn't connect directly over the tracks, so had to cross Simcoe first before connection to Skywalk.

Toronto's southern core with very prominent L-Tower as seen from CN Tower yesterday ...

Picture taken by JP Boutros and found today on Twitter. Thanks JP for letting me share it.

That area will be quite impressive 5-10 years from now with the waterfront built out, 1 Yonge, 45 Bay, the rail shed, and a few other projects completed.

300 Front does a real nice job extending the Front St. canyon. Once Oxford Place, the casino development, and the development next to RBC Centre goes up, it'll be even more of an impressive view... I envy the owners at L tower. Construction view paradise for the next decade...

There has always been a significant drop off as one looked to the west/northwest from Union Station. 300 Front will help, but others on the books will do far more: 156 Front W and the Oxford proposal.

Well, I would have thought that would be a bit obvious considering oxford is far more superior to 300 Front in terms of size, asthetics and sheer prominence. And I would guess the same for 156 Front.

Love the shadows on the CN Tower in bluedjay's pic above. Here's another one from today:

You're assuming that all of that was immediately ascertained by everyone. There are literally hundreds of projects to keep track of. It's not going to be obvious right away to everyone what is going where. Have you also considered that people make comments to direct the conversation in a certain direction?

Ice and the Delta hotel are adding some much needed change to the area, other than the over used green glass curtain wall.
