The fences are down on most of the western side.

About time, a private developer would never have been allowed to block sidewalk for many months without a permit. Councillor Moise’s office finally got involved.Eastern side is also now fully (legally) walkable from King to Front, with only minor fencing left and no "sidewalk closed" signsView attachment 632175
You're dead on, deadline will likely push into May. City of Toronto typically has 90 day validity period on submissions and never awards early. Probably August before the contractor even mobilizesThe City have FINALLY issued this tender call. It is really amazing at how slow they are to issue tenders and award contracts. Based on these dates I doubt the contract will be awarded before late June so work will not be finished this year. Sigh!

She was so confused from walking down that side of the street. It’s been closed since before she was born. We had to make two loops so hoping next time she won’t be scared.Does the Brown Safety Dog approve of the new facilities though? <3
