I think only that last one is old! The second photo shows how amazing its presence will be in the area!
 
so how long does a huge project like this realistically take to complete? as in everything finished and polished? 5 years?

In all seriousness, I think 1 Bloor East was where this project is today back in Aug 2011... and it's still going... 6 years later... I understand there were a lot of idiosyncratic problems with that project... but this is also an inexperienced developer going for something even more ambitious... I think 5-7 years is not unreasonable... depending on how much operational trouble they run into...

Few projects in New York have underground parking so excavation/foundation work is a lot quicker.
 
Really? I thought most did. They certainly don't have large above ground garages. Are most just parking free? I seriously doubt 432 Park is parking free.

it has valet parking. i have visited the building but no idea what the valet parking garage is like though.
