Hi, so is there a confirmation on how many towers there will be on this site and what the mix is (i.e. one office, one hotel, one residential - either rental or condo)?

No confirmation yet, but add all that to the nearby proposed 20 York (Union Centre), 156 Front, and existing 200 Front (Simcoe Place), RBC Centre,
and the Ritz, and you have quite the area:cool:
Starting to look more and more like The Gehry Towers, should be left alone and developed to its original proposal

Can't wait to hear more details on what Oxford is planning. I really hope they leave the plans for a big convention center, I feel like Toronto has so much more potential to hold large conventions, we could up our tourism if only we had the space to host it.

I had mentioned this back when everyone said the project was on hold/canceled, that it was still going ahead as planned, and that Foster was being retained. The only change is the lack of a casino. Everything else was still proceeding.

Well P+S/IBI has been mediocre at best with many of their projects, save the new Delta hotel. I wonder if Foster is still involved

Foster is of course still involved. IBI is one of the local firms working with Foster + Partners. It's not that very active a project yet so I don't expect any breaking news soon but once I hear more about it, I'll be sure to let you all know.

Indeed, the project is still on hold. The website is still active although the youtube video is no longer active. No news has been posted.
Please can we only post news.

I only know this one: ibigroup.com

There's 5 offices alone in Toronto

Stevens Group Architects, often employed by the TTC, is yet another local addition to the IBI Group.

Word on the street is that IBI's in trouble. They've overstretched themselves buying up several local firms and are now in somewhat dire financial straits.

Stevens Group did a great job with Downsview and Bayview stations. They're also working with Will Alsop on Steeles West subway station.
