So many exciting projects coming to TO recently. It really feels like tastes and design are maturing. And then there's this thing. Wow. A 200m bargain-basement greyyyy spandrelfest at one of the most prominent intersections in the city.

But of course at this point I'm eager to see if the balcony lipstick on this cow-spotted pig will remedy some of the horror.

Everyone will be singing a different tune once they start the balcony installation

It's nothing we haven't seen before. G+C has now designed a half dozen to a dozen black and white themed towers (a few completed) and they lean towards clownish or kooky.
 
I see Canderel has officially taken over for Concord in putting up monolithic disasters across the city.
