That’s a real shame the bowl idea didn’t sit with people. Why on earth anyone wouldn’t like it is puzzling.

Large art pieces or sculptural pieces are VERY MUCH needed through other parts of the city. Nothing offensive about clean looking pieces like this. Other then perhaps it took up to much space.

sad to lose the 3 charming storefronts at that corner...so much of what makes Toronto interesting is the randomness of neighbouring buildings from different eras. with this new development that entire block will now become sterile and modern. the future renders of Yorkville are getting pretty mind blowing in terms of scale and density. Yorkville in it self could pass as the main skyline for 90% of the cities in North America!
