I have noticed though that the Orion VIIs' rear doors were originally really slow to close, but are now (at least feel) a bit better. One can certainly hope this can be fixed.

The timing is the same, but it may be down to the rebuilt buses getting new doors and mechanisms. All of the buses with Vapor doors (those are the all-black ones) seem to be a bit faster in terms of the speed of the doors, and that may be due to higher-quality parts.

Ah! So all we have to do is wait 7-8 years for the mid-life rebuild.

9009 & 9010 are here and still factory wrap.

Oh please, we're not that stupid. That's a good 150 meters away from anything remotely resembling a public area.

And how do we know he wasn't invited onto the property by an employee? Perhaps we should ask questions before throwing around accusations.

How do you know that he took the photos? Perhaps they came from someone else?

It's a lot less than 150 metres. 150 metres is from the bus platform at Wilson station. The distance walking in through the driveway off Transit Road past the "Authorized Personnel Only" sign is a lot shorter.

Is TTC property really private property though. You're making a big deal out of nothing, even if he was actually trespassing, which is unlikely.

Tell you what: you go for a walk in a subway tunnel and use that argument - and let's see where that gets you.

Just shut up and enjoy the pictures.

So, you condone trespassing and breaking the law then?

What he is doing is making it harder and harder for others who legally take photos on TTC property. And don't kid yourself, TTC management regularly check forums like this for things like this. For all we know, they may be placing a security guard at the platforms from here on in - they've certainly done that in the past.

You must be fun at parties.

Oh, I'm positively delightful.
