There is a new DP sign up on the NE corner of 4ave/5st SW (where the strip mall is). It says it for a 32 story 268 unit residential building. LeCaille is the developer

The property is still owned by LaCaille Group. They have no immediate plans to develop it given the challenging economic conditions and the cost of building concrete high rises. The recent DP was simply to keep their 'oar in the water' with the city.

I think it is the right corner. The proposal has always been where the Circle-K strip mall is. There is another proposal kitty corner to King's, but I can't remember the name of it.

The one kitty corner to King's on Fourth was the Killam REIT Plaza 54 proposal, which has died:

So, since the City changed the development map, I have not been able to keep track of new DPs as easily. This one though looks like it was submitted recently (note, you cannot open links to a permit anymore either, hence the screen shots): Not a lot of info, but this is contained in Killam...

Looks like someone cut off the top of an entire tower 
The top of Axxis or Vogue. Overall, not too bad. The black top is awkward, but the massing and general detail is good.
