Great view from up there.I tagged along with a friend while he was apartment hunting and we viewed a couple units in the West Village towers. We ended up chatting with the building manager and he said Tower 3 will commence in the summer after some spring prep. So, we should start to see a lot of activity there very soon.
Some cheeky pics from the amenities areas. Not great quality... was fast and didn't want to make it seem like I was only interested in grabbing photos

3 of the 5 homes along 37th have been removed in preparation for the townhomes. Land use application (H-GO) and DP have not been approved yet.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but there's blue fencing up around the buildings on 8th Street and 13th Avenue SW both the NE and SE corners.

I’d be curious to know if the development on 37th is a product (at least in part) of Main Streets, or of the development would have occurred at the same rate regardless, because of the availability of 50’ lots with older homes.

I think it's a combination of 50'-60' lots with the possibility of favourable zoning, and that the lots are undesirable enough for SFH (due to traffic, noise, parking) that owners could be convinced to sell quickly.

Not much info other than the site was/still is owned by Western Securities. They are looking for more density, so it wouldn't surprise me to see something significant there.

Noticed all of the trees at the former Blackfoot trailer park have been cut down and there's a sign for a new development. I don't see anything on skyrise about it. Here's the website for the developer but there's no rendering. The billboard had an image but I couldn't see well from my car.
