So these are for private developers to use? Or is this for a national home building program? I think it is the former.The Feds just dropped their housing catalogue. I'll be curious to learn how well their design choices function with Calgary's existing zoning and whether Admin and builders adopt the designs.

So what's the point of these?
It's for private developer use. Essentially the idea is to save time and money for getting new infills approved which should open it up to more smaller builders. Future federal infrastructure funding for provinces is meant to be tied to provincial governments approving the designs. Some more info from catalogue...So these are for private developers to use? Or is this for a national home building program? I think it is the former.
So the Feds can in the future tell a city: no more grants unless your bespoke zoning code accommodates these plans on at least X% of lots, to stop municipalities from gaming their code to not allow housing while claiming the opposite.So what's the point of these?
