Doing some calculations with @CT_ 's help to model what these might look like.
Three possible scenarios, assuming that they are looking to max out the 12 FAR, and given the areas from the image:
- Two towers about the same height that are between 90 and 100 metres
- A taller tower around 120 metres tall, similar to BLVD, and a shorter tower about 65 metres tall
- A much taller tower around 140 metres tall, and a much shorter tower around 45 metres tall.

Scenario 1 and 2 feel the most likely to me. 45 metres would be pretty short for that location, especially if it's on the south side.

I'm almost sure it'll be scenario one.

950 students downtown next semester, not equal to an office worker, as I assume an upgrading student doesn't spend as much as an office worker downtown, but still a nice under the radar add to Bow Valley College, I wonder where this space is at Bow Valley College?
Olds College and the University of Lethbridge also have their Calgary campuses at Bow Valley College so those buildings will be full to bursting!

There is a drill onsite of an unknown project 19st/17ave/Blackfoot Tr SE. just north or the Centex gas station.
Edit… the Lot appears to be 740 19st SE. which is the “Grid” proposal. Thought this was dead?

Thread for The Grid.

An interesting land use application over by SAIT:

It is just land use right now, no DP. Quantum Place (the planning consultant) has an engagement page up for the project, including a potential building massing:

Added to the database. Details to be edited as needed.

Perfect for that location.

I think we need a 4th scenario :)

- A 200 meter tower around 60 storeys, with a cheat spire and no second tower.

To be clear, I don't think Quantum Place is the developer, they are the planning consultant. And actually, they are winding down operation in the new year (founder got a new job with an international developer). I imagine they will continue to take this land use redesigntation through to Council, but it will be their client who is responsible for ultimatley building.
