some updates from today. I noticed that the transition floor between hotel and condo (where there is a concrete slab) is being covered with same glass as the rest of the tower. it's quite seamless. on the side facing Melville, there is a small grill in place of patio doors but it's barely noticeable (3rd balcony from the bottom)

And this is how it looks now. Tower itself is now 39 floors tall and the crane is approximately where the 50th floor will be. From now onwards every floor will add to the visible skyline. :cheers:

I took these photos already two weeks ago, but it should be easy to imagine two more floors to the building.

Vancouver's most urban square around Burrard Station is having a new member.

I love this view along Dunsmuir Street.

First entry into the classic Coal Harbour view.

Starting to look tall from the alley.

Second construction elevator being added.

And finally a bonus photo with yesterday's amazing sunset.

Here's a crude cut and paste job by me in Paint showing 21 more floors and a guesstimate of 16 ft (nothing sophisticated like pixel counting or anything).
The streetscape elevation at the end of the amending bylaw shows the height being closer to Shangri-La's height.
