If you're talking about the Taco Shop (not very new), you're good to skip it. Super expensive and not great food.

I was at the Taco Shop for dinner. Contrary to @policyenthusiast's post, the food was quite good and filled my stomach to my own satisfaction (tacos were large), and the bill didn't exactly break the bank. Kendra is an awesome server, they need to keep her at all costs. I briefly saw Daniel the owner but didn't get a chance to say "hey".

Out of curiosity, what did you pay? I had chips and salsa, 3 tacos, and two drinks and it rang up at $72. This was last year, so if they've lowered their prices I would give them another shot.

Designer Depot has opened in the old Brick space in Phase 3.
I hope this does well, given that this space has been a retailer black hole since The Brick relocated to Phase 1.

Was at WEM for my one of two trips of the year out there with some out of town guests. I forgot what that parking lot outside of T&T was like.
Man o man we need a Simons Downtown.
Galaxy Orbiter fantastic for the first 1/3, then too disorientating followed by a lacklustre last 1/3; I miss the bender.

Love Simons, neither locations are at all ideal so I agree. Ideal for me that is, great for North siders

I haven't shopped at WEM for years but I have been to the Simons at Londonderry a few times.
Given that other big box retailers like Best Buy, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Sport Chek and Wal Mart can have multiple locations and do well, I think a Simons in central Edmonton (dt) could succeed, couldn't it?
