I’m guessing the 80 km/h speed limit is provisional. There’s traffic exiting and merging west of St. Albert Trail.

Do they have a finalized design on that?I’m guessing the work on the 66 Street interchange will start next spring.
This is the final concept plan: https://www.edmonton.ca/sites/defau...ic/66Street_DetailedConcept.pdf?cb=1731375903Do they have a finalized design on that?
Thanks, last I saw there were a few different plans in contention. Thanks for the update, I must have missed it.This is the final concept plan: https://www.edmonton.ca/sites/defau...ic/66Street_DetailedConcept.pdf?cb=1731375903
Seems like there is still some operating businesses to the west of 66 St that need to be demolished. An auto repair and used cars place. This is the final concept plan: https://www.edmonton.ca/sites/defau...ic/66Street_DetailedConcept.pdf?cb=1731375903
I think this project is years away. The City has not initiated any utility relocations yet, so I bet 2026 construction starts for utilities at best.I’m guessing the work on the 66 Street interchange will start next spring.
Their latest schedule (posted May 2024) had 66 Street being a 2025-2026 construction.I think this project is years away. The City has not initiated any utility relocations yet, so I bet 2026 construction starts for utilities at best.
I often turn right from YHT onto 66 st, so losing that access for me is a bit of a inconvenience, but I will manage. That intersection is one of my least favourites, so I'm all for this overpass to be built
I think you can exit at the 125 Avenue exit, meeting up with 66 Street.
