The calm before tomorrow's storm
Idk who did what to the sound system in this space but speakers need to seriously be replaced or the sound people who set up the live entertainment need to be fired.
I've heard that a lot this year and had never heard it in the past. I wonder if someone blew the speakers? That should absolutely get fixed asap. A lot of people from out of town visit there and it leaves a terrible impression to have shit quality in our supposed showcase district. I also heard one of the LED panels on Rogers was not working and there was a big black spot in the middle of the screen while people were watching game 3. Does anyone know if that was fixed prior to last night?Idk who did what to the sound system in this space but speakers need to seriously be replaced or the sound people who set up the live entertainment need to be fired.
We had to move over to the Scotia Bank Tent as this space was audibly painful to be in.
"Big" is certainly an exaggeration on the LED portion that's out but I will echo that the sound was brutal. Personally, I find the fan park a way cooler setup and atmosphere but a shame it's getting taken down with the carnival coming next week to that space.I've heard that a lot this year and had never heard it in the past. Those last two units have no exterior entrances and are tucked way behind the Banquet in that long corridor, so I wonder if that'll delay them leasing up.The calm before tomorrow's SCF Game 6 storm. Win or lose, it's the Oilers' final NHL game of the season.
There are still some CRUs available.

Home game. Final home game of the season. The calm before tomorrow's SCF Game 6 storm. Win or lose, it's the Oilers' final NHL game of the season.
Probably need an appointment type business there vs retail. Optometrist, barber, dentist, chiro. But even still, street presence helps, so these are tough sells. Those last two units have no exterior entrances and are tucked way behind the Banquet in that long corridor, so I wonder if that'll delay them leasing up.
Should be soon. They've been flooding it the last couple days so wouldn't surprise me if they are targeting this weekendDoes anyone know when the skating rink will open?
