Getting Korean to take over YYC-ICN and redeploying that airframe elsewhere would be great, but as much as I want it to happen I don't really see it happening.
Considering Korean is a minority owner in Westjet anything could be possible until new frames arrive.Getting Korean to take over YYC-ICN and redeploying that airframe elsewhere would be great, but as much as I want it to happen I don't really see it happening.
I don't think Korean has too many cross holdings, unlike Delta, so the fact they've taken a stake, I can definitely see ICN-YYC. They also have a lot of widebodies on order, especially with the 777-9 delays, so they're likely not able to run as many flights as they want.Considering Korean is a minority owner in Westjet anything could be possible until new frames arrive.
China Eastern connects with Westjet for most of their Canadian destinations, and it's hard to compete with AC in YVR/YYZ. I'd guess if there ever was a flight it'd be Shanghai-YYC with China Eastern.anyone want to guess if YYC could be a potential spot ?![]()
