There are some wooden boards on the Jasper Ave-facing sidewalk (you can see them in one of the above pictures); I'm hoping those spaces are intended for trees, because I agree it's a bit unpleasant at the moment without some vegetation.

Karen Shaw, Bill Tonita, and Taneen Rudyk are very strong NDP candidates with significant local governance experience. Would love to see all three of them win.

Looking at it a bit further... On their Instagram account yesterday, the business said: "The pop up on 108 could be open as soon as next week. Waiting on internet. #staytuned for updates on opening". So it sounds like the Capital Boulevard location will be a temporary or interim space while...

I just hope that whatever happens, we can keep the movie theatre. I'll be sad if there will be no more movie options downtown someday.

How long do you have to wait for that bus, though? 10, 15, 20 minutes? That's usually the problem.

As someone who lives in the area, I actually find this one nicer looking in person than what that photo depicts. And I don't think it looks all that bad in the photo, either!
