Actually, most of the north facing units have even less of a view, with only an extremely narrow street separating them from another condo. I think the most west units might have a bit of daylight though.

Yes, especially because such a big deal was made of the environmental considerations put into their building. Tearing a structure down and building something else ten years later is probably not going to happen. And it's not as if every building has to be 30 stories there... just the infill...

I believe they're in the process of eliminating dynamic design elements, reducing production costs and adding stucco to make this project bland enough to bring to market. I pray to God I am wrong about this.

While it may provide some stability and hope for the unemployed/underemployed, I doubt most people would consider living in public housing "hitting the jackpot."

I saw them putting some sort of flashing on the edges of the balconies yesterday. It was quite warped and cheap looking...hopefully once the whole balcony structures have been put on these will not be as noticeable but it was disappointing to see on an otherwise quite beautiful building.
