I'm confused, the sign says Kelvingrove apartments but I read this " Talbot Apartments, saved by the OMB".

Why does everyone worry about the height ? It is a bit too late to start worrying about the height of buildings in Toronto. I think they should smash down most of the surrounding buildings as well.

I think you'll see that 1 Bloor will dominate Bloor and Yonge. You statements will seem antiquated. Anyway, the new Four Seasons is nowhere near Bloor and Yonge.

This this announcement, which does not yet appear on their website, it looks as if the signature tower will have to wait.

Seeing with the naked eye is not the same as seeing with a long focal lens rro. For once the air over Toronto is smogless.

This is a brilliant new building and I love those coloured pieces in the facade as well as the new sculpture.

I certainly think that this will be more than a fake facade - what we saw done with the new Eaton Centre. This is going to be a real building or buildings in the terrace style, something that hasn't been done in Toronto for over a hundred years. I hope too that the quality of brick will be...

Scarborough's city centre does really need one all defining tower, say 50 or 60 storeys, in much the same way Yonge and Eglinton got the Minto tower to dominate its skyline. But I am sure that will come in time.

These buildings will finally put Mississauga on the map and confirm once and for all its status as mature city centre. Move over Toronto !!
