I really like that idea - I wish we had more well-done public/private interface with LRT. Even the new WEM LRT station isn’t actually physically connected to the mall.

Yeah I agree with the sentiment that this is a mixed bag. I’m definitely sad it’s gone, but what’s replacing it is so incredible and important for our core on a vital intersection. It’s a net positive.
