Seems like Harris’s campaign is stalling out..
How do you measure that? It will always be close, but Harris is ahead in the polls in today' media.

Even Fox News is "reporting" that Harris is ahead. That must cause Trump to want to shoot his TV.

Nate Silver of 538 has her losing the contest (but ahead in the polls).

There's a lot of technical detail in his prognostication, which is just that............but what it comes down to is this a 50 state contest, not a national popular vote contest, and his reading is that Pennsylvania will go Trump.

We shall see.

Trump has really been spinning the last few weeks. His flip-flopping on the Florida abortion access ballot initiative shows how stuck he is between a rock and a hard place, on an issue that is determinative for a large swath of the electorate.

The Republicans have really screwed themselves by achieving the overturn of Roe v Wade. The need to now take nuanced positions on abortion is going to blow up the Republican coalition as there is no way to please everyone.

If the Republicans honestly believed in the stance SCOTUS took, their presidential position should be no position at all. The point of the SCOTUS ruling was abortion was not a federal matter and legislation should be returned to the individual state.

Yep. History books will posit that the dual own goals of kicking the otherwise well-established abortion bee hive and publishing their aim in Project 2025 were the downfalls of the Republican Party from the mid-2020s until the 2030s (and the ascendancy of Baron von Trump :p ).

I hope you're right. The latest NYT polls have Harris on the backfoot.

IDK what's wrong with Americans that they seriously want Trump back. If he wins, I'm done with the USA.
You really have to wonder why half the American population can support this man. Make America Stupid Again. He does love the uneducated.
