I wonder if there will be a restaurant (similar to NYC). And I agree... Toronto is starting to see not just luxury open on Bloor, but truly global sized flagships.
If there were a restaurant, then it would be possible to have Breakfast at Tiffany’s!

When I saw the picture, I thought it was just the light that made it look like brutalist concrete panels, it was probably some beige/golden-ish vertical slats. I walked by to check it out this afternoon - yup, brutalist concrete panels. Probably could win an award for the ugliest YSL store facade in the world if there was such a thing.
Brutalism is "in" again. It just goes to show how architecture can be trendy and disposable, just like fashion.
