Great pic, its coming along nicely.
It doesn't look like cladding will be making it onto the Montage tower any time soon though; they've spent the last 2 days putting up a huge Concord banner on the bare structure.

The brick-colour does look good from a distance. The "fakeness" is quite obvious up close.

^A prime example of what I hate about Cityplace: there should be another condo tower above that podium! Silly small town planners/politicians in this city scare me; cheap developers scare me; I'll never buy a condo here

I wouldn't be surprised if the red precast faux-brick ended up aging way better than the white/off-white versions so common in Toronto - the latter is ugly as sin once the dirt sets in.

Because one story groceries stores belong (if anywhere) in the suburbs. Cityplace isn't as dense as it should be: towers on all the 1-3 story podium/townhouses please! I believe that is the main reason cityplace feels like an isolated ghetto.
