Yep and they have bought a number of development sites around here. Welcome To The Future of Aggressive Mediocrity

Agreed.....but even this is better than the past model of detached 3,500 SF homes on 40 foot lots. Things are going to change, albeit slowly in the 905.

Yes indeed. All jokes aside, the planned park is literally located in an industrial area, in front of a concrete plant. Will be interesting to see how it sells.
I had my doubts for Centro Square not far from this location and Liberty managed to get construction going.

I drove by this site this week.

They are currently building the Sales Centre in an old unit on the site, fronting Hwy. 7.

It has big block letters 'COSMOS'. Couldn't snap a pick because I was driving.

Some new renders, without the flying cars. Site plan seems to have changed, with the office building moving to the western corner of the site:

I stopped by the presentation centre to take some photos of the scale model:

There's also a smaller scale model of the condos in a downtown Vaughan of the future:

Some media coverage of these condos below. It would be great to get this project on the UT Map.

How public transit affects home values in Toronto
Toronto Star - July 16th, 2016 - https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2016/07/16/how-public-transit-affects-home-values-in-toronto.html

"Cosmos Condos by Liberty Development Corp. include 396 units on 35 storeys. Priced from the mid $200,000s to the $600,000s, the condos range from one to three bedrooms with a den, from 500 to 1,298 square feet. Located on Highway 7 West, the building is about 350 metres from the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre station, the terminus for the TTC’s Spadina subway extension. The first phase, one of two planned towers, is slated for tentative occupancy in 2019 and the subway is expected to open earlier, in late 2017."
